FA Trophy Run Continues

Uxbridge moved into the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Trophy, with a 2-1 win over AFC Croydon Athletic at Honeycroft on Saturday afternoon

Ada Okorogheye netted his seventh of the season in the 19th minute, before Josh Addae doubled the lead on 44 minutes to put The Reds firmly in control at the break.

Any thoughts of an easy ride to the next round were put on hold just seven minutes into the second half when Brandon Pierrick halved the lead - to give Uxbridge a scare. However they did manage to keep AFC Croydon at bay without adding to their lead to make it through to the draw for the next round on Monday
